Another Women's History Month in the books and I am yet again left feeling conflicted. Love the idea of celebrating women of course but the performative nature of the month combined with the fact that we are over 50% of the population just doesn't sit right. One month should be the year. Is it so hard to pay us equally, invest money in our companies and let us have control over our bodies? All goals we at The Justice Dept work toward every damn day. And speaking of money, the third season of Takin Care of Lady Business is back and the first episode drops on Wednesday April 3rd with the Financial Feminist herself, Tori Dunlap. Stay tuned! And here's more ....

Check out JJ in Forbes' Recent Article
In 2023, hailed as the Year of the Woman, influential women like Taylor Swift and Beyonce made significant economic contributions, with Swift's Etas Tour alone boosting the U.S. economy by nearly $6 billion. A forthcoming economic shift, known as "The Great Wealth Transfer", will see women controlling a substantial portion of Baby Boomer wealth, potentially leading to a more equitable society and exemplifying women/s growing influence as an economic force. In recognizing the link between financial empowerment and gender equity, advocating for oneself becomes paramount in achieving financial freedom.
"Give women half of the money and see what happens- I guarantee you the world ill be a much better place"
Since starting the Justice Dept, I have increased women's wealth by over $80MM in less than 4 years.

My clients' surprised reaction when I manage to get them much better terms for themselves and their companies, whether talent agreements, employment, severance, partnerships, asset sales or investments.
They often admit that they never thought they could get that result. Not even hoped.
This blows my mind.
